New production line by oxycut, plasma or mechanical cutting techniques

Aceros URS, S.A. starts the activity after the holidays with an increase in cutting capacity of 30%.

With sales of about 8,000 tons in special steels for applications of high wear resistance steels, high yield strength, temperature, boilers, construction steels, structures, etc., currently supplies half the volume in the form of industrial plates and half in pieces cut to measure from said plates.

Cut steel by means of the techniques of Oxycut on demand, plasma or mechanical cutting (shear) for all types of mechanical applications, and to reinforce this activity has launched a new plasma cutting line that represents an increase of 30% in its cutting capacity. This line is equipped with double head, a cutting table of 40 m in length and 6 m in width allows to cut continuously sheet thicknesses up to 50 mm. With it, the company consistently strengthens its service capacity to its customers in the different sectors.
