C ≤ 0.20. Mn ≤ 1.70. Si ≤ 0.80. P ≤ 0.025. S ≤ 0.015. Mo ≤ 0.70. B ≤ 0.005. CEV: 0.49-0.54.
Rm: 760/940 N/mm². ReH: 650-700 N/mm². As: ≥ 14 %. Charpy impact: 27J at -40ºC.
TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
Raex S690QL are structural steels with a minimum yield strength of 650-700 MPa (N/mm²), depending on thickness. They meet the requirements of EN 10025-6 for grade S690.
Especially suitable for load-bearing and support structures with high demands, where strength and weight reduction are priorities: telescopic cranes, aerial platforms, concrete pumps, dump trucks, manipulators, etc.
They provide the following benefits, among others:

DELIVERY CONDITION
Raex S690QL steels are delivered in quenched and tempered condition.

WELDING AND OXYCUTTING
Steels suitable for welding using general techniques with limited heat input, following the manufacturer’s guidelines.
BENDING
Tolerances according to the Raex bending guarantee, class A.
FORMING
Good formability.
Not suitable for hot treatment or machining above 580ºC, a temperature that affects its mechanical properties.
Stock Program
- Wide range of thicknesses and formats:
- From 6 to 100 mm, with typical widths of 2,000 and 2,500 mm, lengths up to 14,600 mm depending on thickness.
- Check our warehouse stock for each supply and delivery times for non-standard formats.
- We also supply sheet parts cut in multiples of 1,000 mm while maintaining width.
- Oxycutting of custom parts from 6–8 mm thickness.
