We cut your steel plates so that you only need to assemble, welded and ready.
URSSA has flame and plasma cutting technologies, with capacity to cut steel plates thicknesses from 1 to 500 mm. Always in accordance with UNE-EN ISO 9013 standard requirements.
For that reason we have OXYSER, MAINOX, MESSER and MICROSTEP cutting lines, able to process large dimensions sheets, managed by numerical control based on LANTEK software.
Based on its plans, Urssa makes conversion to CAD and ensures a cut steel to your requirements, even in artistic works as monuments.
We give the maximum importance to the quality finishing:
- The use of quality sheets and origin certificate
- Work under speed requirements for water free finishign
- Final polish to eliminate edges and burrs
For material which need warm treatment after the cut, we have annealing furnaces and stabilization of pieces of 3.000×2.200x900mm.
The oxycut is a cutting metal sheets by thermal jet process, in which, to make an accurate material cutting, results a metal combustion. The reaction results through Fe (fuel), O2 (combustible) and torch flaming.
When you cut, the metal is burned, remaining critical the presence of alloy components which reduce combustion steel capacity. Because of that this is a very suitable technique for moderate in carbon and alloying content.
The oxycut process allows you to do high quality cuts: with the cut surfaces perpendicular with soft waters, without bites, with the angular edge (not cast and not rounded) and with the bottom edge free of slags and burrs. It also allows you to do any type of rectilinear and curve cuts on sheets over 500mm thickness.
CUTTING SERVICE
By sending us your maps, steel quality and needs to oxicorte@acerosurssa.es we quote your offer In a few hours.
To start up your order we will ask you for your plans and dimensions of the final mechanized pieces to calculate the necessary oxycut amounts.
We cut pieces in thickness until 500mm and greater*.
We have annealing furnaces and stabilization of pieces of 3.000×2.200x900mm.
* Due to the heating effect in the oxycut process, we do not recommend to cut pieces in thickness less to 6 or 8 mm, according to dimension.
